Computer freezes up during startup-can't get to safe mode

Expand Post »
Hi everyone,

I am having some problems with my computer. I usually leave it running, but Saturday morning I found that it had somehow restarted and was at frozen on a screen that displays before the Windows startup screen. It lists my processor and at the bottom it says press DEL to enter safe mode, ES and stops there, as if the whole process hasn't finished. No matter what I press, I can't get past this screen. The only sound I hear is one beep when I manually restart it. I am hoping that there is some fix for this solution! I appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Did it beep before you had the problem?
