Computer Restarts, blue screen. Help please

My computer seems to be restarting randomly, and I get this blue screen with kernal errors etc. It also restarts when i try to play certain games like everquest for example it will crash at the patcher.

I've run spybot, adware se personal, nortan antivirus, and registery cleaner.

Computer specs are,
3.2 ghz amd process

1 gig ram

Samsung 149 gb hardrive

128 mb nvidia geforce FX 5700 video card

Lite-on DVDRW LDW 811s drive (Also this drive for some reason wont burn cds, it use to work fine till one day it wouldnt read disc and i followed some online steps how to fix it, reads and plays disc fine just wont burn them)

OS: Windows XP

if that helps any, also will be posting the exact errors from the blue screen just going to reply to this with the info in a minute.

Any help is appreciated, i'm trying to avoid having to reformat the hardrive because I have a lot of important files on my computer and since my cd burner isnt working i have no way to back them up because their size they wont fit on floppys.

Talon95,

1st I recommend posting your log to the Viruses, Spyware & other Nasties forum. You'll receive much faster help.

2nd Have you tried system file checker? Place your XP CD in the CD-ROM, then: Start >> Run >> type: sfc /scannow. That may help.

Let us know your results.

Looks to me like you need to update your graphics card drivers and chech your graphics aperture size in the bios.

I had this with my computer, crashing when i would play games like battlefield and found that removing Norton stopped the crashes completely. I dont know why or how it worked it just did and it's a pain as you need to buy or find a cracked other internet security jobbie.

if you have the xp installation, put in your dvd drive then boot from it..if it prompts you to install a new OS or repair Win Xp choose repair..maybe your windows registry is damage already.. just try
