Video and audio playing too fast?

Expand Post »
All of sudden, this morning, all my video and audio (including MP3) are playing too fast!

I'm using Windows Media Player. I reinstalled all the codecs but still the same (Using K-lite Codec). Even mp3 in iTunes or Winamp are playing too fast. Tried ReClock, the video plays at the correct speed, but the sound is garbled.

Any ideas?

Re: Video and audio playing too fast?

Hmm, when I use VLC Media Player to play video or mp3 files, the video play at the correct speed, but the sound is distorted. Same for mp3. I disabled the onboard sound card and all video played at the correct speed.

I'll try buying a new sound card and see if it solve the problem.
