pc assemble

hello guys i have a problem
i just put together a pc but the board didnt have an onboard video so im using a pci e card, but after the assemble and i turn on the comp nothing comes on all the fans are spinning and every thing,
any suggestions

Unplugg all except power supply, VGA and CPU. (no HD, no optical, no memory...). If you don't get any POST that way, you are looking at faulty mobo/VGA/PSU or some of the cables or VGA aren't plugged right.
