Battery Calibration Killed My Laptop!

Expand Post »
I have a Gateway MX6124...

Recently, I've had some issues with the laptop resetting itself at random times. It got to the point where the laptop wouldn't stay on for more than 15 minutes without resetting. I checked the battery, AC Adapter, cooling fans, etc. I couldn't find any issues. So, I decided to try to run the Battery Calibration Tool. The tool ran for 3 hours uninterrupted, without resetting, and completed. After the tool completed, I was instructed to press ESC to reset my laptop. However, after doing so, the laptop will not boot back up.

As we stand right now, when I attempt to power on the laptop, the power button glows and so do a few other buttons on the computer. However, the laptop just sits there and will not boot. Nothing appears on the screen and the buttons remain glowing. I have tried reseating/pulling out the memory and reseating the hard drive.

Does anyone have any ideas? Please? Anyone?
