HP Compaq nx8220 - Advice on DIY Repair

Expand Post »
Hi,

I have an Hp Compaq nx8220 business notebook. My problem is that the bit at the back where the power adapter goes in is broken, The pin in the middle of the socket has come detached from the Laptop.

I called the local repair place, and they quoted me £75+Vat (£88) to repair it. I'm poor and can't afford that, so any tips on repairing myself would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance,

Re: HP Compaq nx8220 - Advice on DIY Repair

if you got the part and the tools then you can do it by yourself, but if you don't have any experience in doing it then start saving money to fix that...
