windows installer keeps popping up

My windows installer keeps popping up and seems to be updating Sonic and ends up just erroring out. I am having to cancel it 3-4 times before it stops popping up. I need help please.

i've experiencing the same problem with the installer trying to install visual foxpro,
i basically insert the installation cd, and reinstall the software and uninstall it again with several times booting up with the installtion cd in the cd-rom.

i guess it is because incomplete install/uninstall process, because some software need several booting up before it cleared out...
