Laptop touch pad problem

The right click on my laptop has stopped working properly. You can drag and highlight things with it but no normal right click functionality. This occurs with the touch pad and when a USB mouse is plugged in also. No problem when in administrator account. All settings are default nothing has changed.

Try and update your drivers in your device manager

Go to your "system properties" and click on "hardware tab" then "device manager" look for "mice and other pointing devices"

Click on that device and you should see the device that you use for your mouse for example (PS/2 compatible mouse) click on the tab "drivers" you should see "update drivers" that should help.

If not you might have to reinstall the device.

also one other thing you could have a device conflict problem.
