Keyboard Not working on a new comp. i built

I have a abit aw8max 3rd eye II, with 2*1048 corsair ram at 800Mhz, and sapphire radeon X1900XTX, and 4*250gb sata2 drives, 1*36.7gb raptor drive, and one 200gb ata133 drive. also got uguru clock and a hardcano fan controller connected, and hmm a plextor sata dvd burner. and of course a floppy drive.. after installing all this in my thermaltake kandalf tower my brand new microsoft comfort keyboard isnt working.. have tried two other keyboards also, 1 logitech wireless desktop, and one other keyboard with wire. i tried installing another mainboard but that turned out the same. the lights on the wired keyboard blinks when i connect it but pushing any buttons dont work, oh and my cpu is an intel pentium 940 d 3.2ghz. what could be wrong? i tried two different brand new mainboards, abit aw8-max and abit aw8-max 3rd eye 2. i cant even get windows installed...!
