Logitech speaker problems

Expand Post »
Hi people,

Specs Logitech z340 speakers

Ok, i reformatted my pc yesterday. When i play music, the subbase unit sounds like its underwater, not thumping, but rather like its behind a wall. I have unistalled the c-media drivers for the sound, and installed over, also checked all the cables.

Now this happened the last time i formatted my pc, i couldnt solve it then, and reformatted it over again, hey presto, it worked fine.

I was using media player 10, and now have 11, but i also tried installing 10 to no avail.

Can anyone help?

Regards

Tony

Re: Logitech speaker problems

I would go to the Logitech website, and download the most recent drivers.
Then I would go to the Device Manager in System to remove existing drivers, and install these new ones you just downloaded.
If it is a software problem, that will fix it.
Speakers are possibly the most fragile and failure prone compoent in a computer system. If you have been using them a lot, it is probably time to replace them.
