ASUS Express Gate

Hi all,
My ASUS Notebook PC N61J with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 came with "Express Gate" already installed. Is using ASUS Express Gate a must? If yes, why? If not, can I uninstal it without any concern? A million thanks in advance for your help.
