Thanks. Yes i was referring to the HDMI connection. I could not get the signal when connected with HDMI. Any other ways.

are you sure you have a good quality cable? how long is it? there is no reason HDMI shouldn't work if both units have one. another way could be component i suppose, but i don't see why the sony hdmi should not work with the LG hdmi
