During this economic slowdown (Recession period) e-marketers cannot afford to loose nor can let someone SPAM or blacklist them. Do the following things before starting your next e-campaign:
Check for the following things in your email list and emails:
1. Soft and Hard bounces
2. Unsubscribe requests
3. Change of address requests
4. Misspelled email addresses
5. Incomplete email address
6. SPAM words and unsubscribe links and privacy policy in the emails
7. Heavy images
8. Gaudy colors and big fonts
These are the simple things which you have to take care of. No matter your list manager will take care of these things for your list but it also is your responsibility to participate in fighting against SPAM.
