Re: Payment processor

DONT use ikobo. They recently lost their abilities to sale stuff online so they shut it down. Now the only thing you can do is transfer from person to person

Re: Payment processor

As I understand it is just a temporary thing with their credid card company or something, or at least that what I've read about ikobo. Not sure what is true and what not... but as you've said, for p2p transfers is still the best option for me.

That long, huh? I only thought it was something like an year or two max. Been using it for quite a while myself and it felt like I was among the ones that were using ikobo the most... guess I was wrong. :p
Yeah, that long ... They recently removed the merchant facility and returned to what (IMHO) made them number one in this industry: cheap and fast money transfer facility.

Re: Payment processor

Well, the reason I first went with ikobo was precisely because of their p2p money transfer facilities. For more than an year I've received regular payments into my account and never had problems withdrawing the money with the ikard.

I'd really hate it if something went wrong with ikobo and I would have to look for another way of receiving that money.

Re: Payment processor

I'd hate it too. From what I've seen on other forums, it seems they are going to continue to offer just person2person money transfer services. The truth is that many immigrants use their service to send money to their families in a reasonable timeframe. It would be sad to leave those people without any other option. (I am talking about E Europe ... to be more accurate).

Re: Payment processor

Actually StormPay is having huge problems right now. They have lied about using a third-party certification service (NetIBA). NetIBA is actually owned by the same person that owns StormPay. Please follow my link to read more about this: http://www.getpaidforum.com/forums/t...a-t425781.html

Bottom line right now though is that a lot of people are having their accounts frozen, loosing money, and having StormPay withdraw money from their bank accounts without permission.

What do you suggest for my choice of a good payment processor? It's got to cover many countries, so not paypal . It would be nice if their fees weren't too high also. What do you think? Is there such a service?
alertpay - top processor !!!!

Re: Payment processor

Alternatively you can check with chronopay as well if you are somewhere in European countries.
