Help with oscommerce
I'm trying to add oscommerce to my website and i'm having trouble. I dont know how to edit the front page and i dont know how to make it active. I've added all my products to the site but i cant seem to checkout. I can get the products to the shopping cart but cant check out.
can someone help me please?

go to your administration tool. select define languages click on index.php under the english language. you will notice that the text within the inverted commas is the text your looking to change. furthermore you have to edit header.php to rename the TITLE of the site from oscommerce to something more suited to whatever your shop is called.
Font and styles are held in the stylesheet.css file ..catalog/includes.
and the logo image is named as oscommerce.gif within the header.php relating to the image stored in the images folder. Post a link to your cart if possible because the other problem I can't figure unless I see what its doing.. Making sure of course that you password protect your admin folder before you post such a link(contact your webhost if you are unsure how to do this).

Not trying to be an idiot, but i still dont understand what you guys are talking about.
I now know how to edit the front page. That is clear, and i thank you..
How do i edit the look of the front page? is it possible to take the front page and edit it in dreamweaver? if so how?
also i have a question on how to get the oscommerce functioning..

it works up until the point of when you try to get a new account or if you need to checkout with your shopping cart....
also what is your website young teck o6 and how much would it cost me for a template ?... etc..

At this point i dont care of the looks of the oscommerce..
what i'm wondering is whether or not i can get this thing running
i need some kind of security program for a secure payment or something like that..
also i cant get the pages to even checkout or the payment webpages to work... i need help.
i gave my website a face lift last night.
