Magento Template Installation

I just installed a new Magento template. Installing by replacing the skin, apps, and media of the default magento template.

And now I have a problem, after entering the products, and product categories, I am unable to see the products name in the Magento template.

Why is it? I also have tried to change the template to the default template to check to see of the product name is there. Yet, I receive this error messages:

Your design change for the specified store intersects with another one, please specify another date range.

I don’t know which specific date which do not intersect since I need to see the template change right now, and switch it back right at that moment after checking if the product category appears in the navigation.

I think you don't know how to installed the template correctly or you care not connecting to the database.
