subdomains and primary domains on search engines

Hi everyone,

Will the search engine recognize subdomain ( http://abc.site.com )addresses as separate websites or subdomain to be the same as the primary one ( http://www.site.com )? In other words, if I submitted abc.site.com & xyz.site.com, will the search engine reject it because setafocus.com is already listed on the SE?

The reason I'm asking this is because I plan to use subdomains for specific themed sites (online business/ MLM/ wholesaling/etc) compared to my domain name which is a general website which lists the themed sites.

yoursite.com is different then www.yoursite.com as far as ranking and link popularity is concerned. So yes sub domains count as well.

Each will rank differently. So when building your theme be sure to interlink the pages for the spiders to follow and help index from each page.

Be sure not to duplicate content or you will be banned.
