How/Where to find clients?

since i am a logo designer, i just want to know that how i can find clients who needs designing or other works done for them..but i don't want to go to the freelancing sites.

Go to lime exchange and get a coder check the design related post and bid there place

You can start promoting your service on the different forums. Post your offers in the sections "Work/freelancing/offers/job opportunities"...It might help you out.

You can start marketing locally. Tailor some of your file pages to return for local search queries like "logo design in [YourCity/Region]." You should be able to get some quality leads that way. Should you convert any to business, try to remember that word of mouth goes a long way.

or create your profile at some design portfolio sites

you can register yourself on freelance websites, where people hire designers and some other professionals. you will definitely get free lancing job from there.

promote yourself over the internet just create your own website telling what services you provide then start doing SEO of that website.

You can write articles, advertise in ezines, use eBay, do some web 2 type of promotions, get blogging, etc.
