I think it is not good to take legal advice from any public forum instead you should consult your lawyer and refer few Government sites for related information.
Are you setting up as a sole-propietor (in which case it's literally a case of filling out a couple of forms), or are you hoping to incorporate as a private company?
Companies house and Business Link have websites that are really, really helpful. If you do some research on these then most of your questions will be answered. If you still have questions, then I advise you to seek the assistance of a lawyer and an accountant.
No one has posted to this discussion for at least three months.
