Google's new vertical targeted Search engine

It was reported today on searchengineland.com that Google has rolled out a Real Estate-focused search engine. On the site there are individual property pages for every property listed on Google Maps. According to the article, this part of an ongoing initiative by google to improve how real estate info is presented in Google Maps.

As I do not work with any real estate clients, does anyone know if these pages are automatically generated by Google and if they are can the real estate agents perform SEO work on these pages. Also, how much control and imput to the real estate agents have over the pages for properties they are actively marketing?
