Hi..Powerpoint slide doesn't helps to create backlings but a good powerpoint slide on slide share and 4share may help you to get good traffic on our site..

Powerpoint slide is one of the factors of OFF page optimization.It should only helps to increase the website traffics.But if you post PPT on social media,It might be help to improve your website ranking.It is also called Document Sharing.
