I trained originally as an Electronics Technologist, I have been "in computers" since the mid '70's having started with industrial computers (Burroughs, GE, ETC). I have been involved in networking since 1983 (with WANG ArcNet) and originally trained in NetWare at Novell's Orem, Utah factory in 1985. I am a server and systems specialist with a broad range of experience that covers the gamut from CP/M to Windows VISTA. I hold a wide range of manufacturers certifications (CNE; MCNE; MCSE; MCDBA; CCA) as well as most of the CompTIA certs and I am also a CNP (Certified Network professional) and hold a Canadian I.S.P. designation (Information Systems Professional of Canada). I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and am working on my Masters' degree in Information Systems.

17 different machines. Range from custom-built dual processor "Beast" through several servers and numerous "normal" workstations to two laptops and one Tablet PC (A Gateway). Primary uses of home network is for Training and Education.
