Short Bio:
Politically on the left; to the extent that I think Gordon Brown is a Facist. One son, two daughters, one step-son and two grandsons. Married twice, now separated. Have a degree in sociology and a doctorate in social policy and social work. I used to teach at university but am now a (not very successful) businessman. I think I love computers too much. Nearly as much as I love coffee. But not as much as I love radical social thought and the Open Source Movement.
PC Specs:
Several PCs with different specs variously running Windows XP Home, Windowns XP Pro, and Linux Ubuntu 7.04. My main work PC is running XP pro on relatively up to date hardware: Athlon64 Dual Core 3800+ with 1024MB RAM, ATI Radeon X1050 128MB Graphics Card, 160GB SATA HDD, USB2, Firewire and DVD-RW
Interests:
Playing Tennis (badly), playing around with PCs, drinking coffee and currently trying to get a better understanding of PHP
