Hi ezlovr and welcome to Daniweb,
You have posted an answer to a thread that was last active on Mar 26th, 2004. I honestly think it may be a little late.

Hi again,
First it is good to know you have everything working.
But!!! Why could you not follow the directions we supplied and do the same job in about 2 minutes?
You, or any other OP is under no obligation to do anything suggested here by someone trying to assist them.
But!! We spend some time reading problems, working out the best way to help the original poster and then offer that information to assist them. When they post back and say,
i made it another way.
does not make me very happy. If you knew how to to it, and were going to do it your way anyway, why did you ask here for help?
Well at least you have things working no, Good luck.

Hi and welcome to Daniweb,
If the fixes supplied above do not fix your machine, do as suggested and start your own thread with details about you machine, what you have installed, uninstalled etc, Os etc....

Hi,
If you delete the backup partition and you need to reinstall Windows, you will then need to buy a new OS or computer so it is best left alone.
A lot of your space on you current drive is probably wasted on old program files. Uninstall all programs that you have not used in 3 months. Download Ccleaner and clean up your machine, defrag your HDD and you should have more space. A used HD as Adamsappleone suggested is good for reinstalling any big programs on you current drive (Office etc) Uninstall, then reinstall on new drive. Or, buy a new 500GB + external drive and use it now and also with your new machine when you get it later.

Why not try uninstalling the keyboard (or reinstalling your video driver) and see if it comes back with the option, if not do a SFC if it comes back, install again and try again.

Hi,
Firstly, go to "Viruses, spyware and other nasties" and read the sticky note about removing viruses. Do what is offered there and if your machine is still playing up after that, come back and ask here again.
also do a complete scan of viruses in your windows and system32 folders..
hope this will help to reduce your problem...
Where have I heard that before somewhere.. thats right i just said it!!

God bless you jupiter 2,
How do the error messages described in kb/319595 have anything to do with the posters problem?
"Ctplay2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Eacontrol.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
SoundBlaster card needs to be installed."

Hi,
I have no idea what Apache is or what it does but as it runns on Windows 2003 you could try a System File Check.
http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html
there could be something there causing the error.
If it is possibly, reinstall the program or try updating.

Hi mrt49er,
jupitor 2 got me thinking, sleep and hibernate are two different modes, which one are you using?
Thanks. I have tested with both options. The result is the same.
Have you set you PC to sleep or hibernate?
Well, Uncle Bob, that link is the best advice I've seen from you yet.
Did you go there to find that most of what you said as wrong (as per normal) and that is why you say that? "Only laptops have sleep or hibernate...."

Thank you for that, I was just interested in why anyone would look at an anti-virus program for that type of error. Someone did and fixed theirs and now you fixed yours. A lot more people should do a lot more searching on-line before they post a question.
Again thank you for your reply.
