Short Bio:
Born in British India, Bombed by Japanese 1943 Chrismas. Sailed on troopship to England 1945.
After college and National Service with the Royal Air Force got a job with NCR installing, commissioning and maintaining National Elliot 450 Computers in 1955. This machine had vacuum tube logic, a clock speed of 33Kilohertz.
Came to the US 1979 on corporate transfer with ITT. Laid off from ITT and Joined Nortel Networks
Retired in 2000.
Sailed the Atlantic and back in 2003/2004 in my 40ft sailing yacht.
