PPC can be an effective way of driving traffic to your website. You are able to target specific keywords that are most likely to drive the type of customer you want to your site. However, it is still best to have organic searches, this will ultimately drive more traffic.

Focus the most important keywords on the home page and the less important keywords on the inner pages. Convince your clients the home page is the place where they want to place there efforts.

Anchor text is critical to gaining rank for a keyword, with the correct anchor text on a high pr site, you will have difficulty getting anyone to find your site.

That depends on what your looking for Yahoo has a pretty good business commerce set up. Magento is good because you can customize the site as you want but you do need to know something about programming, where as yahoo, x-cart, etc are more turnkey. You need to know very little.

Google is the largest search engine with the most users, if you rule google you'll rule the others. The other search engines yahoo, bing are pretty easy to do seo for, only google poses problems.

Thanks for the info about seo serp workbench, I just gave it a try it works well. How do you get it to show you more than 10 results? It seems to work pretty well though.

Before running ppc campaigns make sure you've done you're research and you know the keywords that convert to sales. Usually long tail keywords produce more conversions. Try to find words that have less competition and this will likely lead to more conversions.

You can submit as many as you want. The question is will you get any benefit out of article submissions. I think at one time there was some benefit. However, now there is very little benefit with all the updates to the search engine strategies.

Not sure link wheels are as effective as they once were, the search engines have now taken this seo technique into account and are not giving it as much weight as they once were.

You've got to keep working on it, its not easy to see results in this environment especially on google. You'll have to probably start with long tail keywords and then work from there. High pr links always helps.

Not sure you can get a high ranking fast, but the best way to increase your ranking is to have high pr same niche sites link back to your site with your desired keyword and you will attain a higher rank.

Well, creating your own profile backlinks would take a lot of time, you may want to consider hiring an seo company to do that for you. It's as simple as googling profile backlinks. If you do it yourself it will take a long time, but its possible just find sites that allow you to set up a profile with the keyword you want.

Magento takes some time to get use to. You have have to build up experience with the application before it becomes natural to use. Its not like a turn key solution like yahoo, or other web based applications. But it does have many useful options and features.

Well, it will be tough without seo, but if you have a good sized budget then you will be able to place ads on different sites to help bring targeted traffic to your site or you can try the pay per click avenue which can also be expensive.

Hardwork, gotta go to sites in your same niche and get backlinks. It just takes time to increase page rank, but by consistently adding new links everyday you will get there.

SEO is SEO. I don't know if there is anything such as advance SEO, just good techniques and not so good techniques. The more experience you have the more you learn.

Without a doubt Pacquiao, he has more tools and is more adaptive. Margarito is a one note fighter, just tries to run you over and smash you.

In a nutshell, you should do everything. SEO, SEM, PPC, but content and good anchor text will increase your rankings. It all takes time and patience. See what your competitors are doing and do the same thing.

Well, the most obvious is the choice of color for a website. Reds and yellows tend to trigger people to buy. If your selling food these are great colors. Not only Mcdonalds uses this color, but if you think of the other fast food restuarants they use them also. The content on your website is probably the most important thing and an easy checkout process.
