Installation windows is not perfect in computer installation in boot sector. installaton windows properly.

you could be risking loss of your job ,if your employer is serisous enough to block it,they maybe serisous enough to make an excample and use you ! they are doing it for a reason ,main one is to block viruses and other nasties from getting into there network !

and if you are using internet explorer i found in my own ie how to change it then found this site to show the way to the setting.

Im using Firefox ,and i go to tools ,options /content ,and uncheck load imagaes automaticlly

back in the days of Dialup ,this was a option in tools ,with Netscaper and the earlier IE browser's ,for ovisious reasons !now with high speed internet ,who cares !

isults , no wonder no one posted advice yet .lol

i no you markeed it solved ,but when i read it ,first thing to my mind was to change boot order in the bios .windows dvds are fussier than linux !

there is no magic solution ,you just need tomake sure you are creating the install dvd properly ,using iso burning software and a dvd-r disk for best results .if you don't have iso burning software this one will do .

hi, i don't think a win8 help forum is the right place to look for help on the program , i tried using it just to see if i could duplicate your errors but so many of my own errors i gave up .lol
anyway i found this help forum and i think it would best place to look for info your problem , good luck

what program are you using ,might help ,i would install it on my win7 and see hopw it works, im thinking its a problem with the program and not specific to windows

Hi I have a similar query in that one of my memory slots has a broken retaining clip

if its just the retainer that is broken it should still work ,last time i had a computer wit ha broken retainer click i use hot Glue gun to but a nice dab of glue on the end where the retainer goes,worked for me good luck

bigpaw i was thinking the same thing i have a few here also ,here in canada the whole computer gets thrown away ,i have caught a few ,save for the heck of it ,then i throw them away ,but , then i check posters profile and it not there main computer,so its not like they really need it ,ill save mine for someone who really needs it .good luck .

new window on gx620 and started using it but no sound now.

the new windows install likely didn't install drivers for the sound devive ,so unless you install the correct driver for the sound its no going to work,and like i said in my other post ,Dell computers have a service tag on them go to the link in my other post and put in theservice # and it will take you to the correct driver for the computer
