Short Bio:
Just entering IT at age 49, looking to get MS certs and move up in the world. I refurbish computers for Com-cycle (com-cycle.com) in Allentown PA and volunteer as network administrator at WDIY FM in Bethlehem (wdiy.org).
PC Specs:
Typing quickly - Windows, MAC, lots of computers 3 laptops at home, 2 Dells and a Lenovo. I use 2 at work, a Dell GX520 and an HP xw6000 that dual boots xp pro and Ubuntu. The HP isn't as fast as I'd like. Girlfriend has a nice iMac at home and a macbook. WDIY consists of 15 clients on xp Pro and 2000, and 3 older macs (that I dont mess with) which are used for streaming the broadcast and audio editing.
Interests:
Fire/EMS, Critical Incident Stress Management, getting used to being a "step-boyfriend," soon to be a step-dad to a 10 and 13 yeaar-old, MINI Cooper owner, voluteer with Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders.
