Hey guys , i have a problem understanding the domination relationship in a lattice model. For example , i have a multi-level classification {Confidential , Secret} and multilateral categories {N ,E , W} .
So , if i were User A , and i have a security level of (Secret , {N, E}) , would i be able to have access to file A which is classified as (Secret,{E , W}) .
Based on what i read up , the user should not be able to access the file as they are not linked together in the lattice model. But on the other hand , User A has a partial clearance to access files which are labeled as (Secret , {E}) , and in a practical sense , he should be able to view file A as it is linked to his category.
Hope for some clarification if the file can be accessed by the user or not.
