As part of an internal monitoring system Im in the process of designing in VB2010 Im needing a covert survalance webcam system to montior several webcams attached to dummy pc`s in the office. In short ones that are just left running for employees to use for break times etc and then to provide a network of monitor cams when the factory is closed.
Basically its just a pass through server thats needed to access what the camera sees at a specific IP address. The main interlink to the web for running the door access systems is working fine and for closing access to certain pc`s, basically UltraVNC but I just need the camera feed part without the desktop manipulation part and other bits. Is anyone working on a similar type of project at the moment and if so would you please get in touch.
And before anyone starts with the "Invasion of privacy routine" this system is to be used for either in home or in factory / office applications as well and I already know that UltraVNC does the job, but it has far too many extras included.
