I'm supposed to create a virtual catalog, change color/texture of objects, and improve the camera control in Open Inventor.
I think I understand the basis for changing the color of an object such as in http://www.mc3dviz.com/openinventor-forum/showthread.php?p=480 but I'm also supposed to be able to change a file as well.
With the virtual catalog, is the Node-Kit Catalog helpful? I have trouble visualizing it if it's supposed to be in 3D.
The hardest part that I don't understand is "Implement a camera control that allows the user to quickly move from one room to another." The scene is a house, and while I don't think you may be able to answer this exactly, should I ask for more specifics? Or might you have any idea what this question means?
