We have tracking code in place that will track a user from our news letter to our site and then track the user around the site. If the user is in our database we can track the user by email. We now offer free downloads to newsletter subscribers and want to track if a user downloads our software and who they are. I have been testing tracking methods on a test wordpress site and nothing seems to be working. For some reason it will not track the click to a spacific user on a direct download link.
Any suggestions?
