I am a first year mechatronics student who is interested in sustainable buildings and home automation. I am therefore interested in learning a little more programming than necessary for my degree. Hoping to improve my beginner understanding of programming by finding friendly people happy to help an absolute newbie out.

Howdy Friends;
My name is PBJ and I have been writing code since I was 12, and I am now 18. I have experience with a number of languagues including: Perl, Python, C++, Batch/Bash, and Java. Out of the languages mentioned my strong-suit is without a doubt Java. However, over this summer I hope to become sufficient in Assembly programming (I will be asking quite a few questions on here =D). Besides that, I am currently enrolled in a Computer Science program at a college in my area. I hope with my programming experience, that I may be of help to the community. Well now time to lurk the fourms in search of tutorials.

My name is Jyd, I have found this site very resourceful. I recently developed interest in programming using C#, now I'm learning PHP and MySQl. Although it has not been easy but gosh it love the experience of creating things and make them work as I so wish, I'm currently developing a simple web application for a school, where students san check their results view their profile and of course check their results. I'm so into this but going through e-books have been kinda stressful.I like solutions on the go since I'm learning on my own. surprisingly I majored in chemical Engineering. First, i'm sorry for my english is not well. I'm Thai.
Over 8 years that's i was a member of this site. but forgot the user/password over 2 years.

I'm graduated in major of electronics, and self learning about x-86-asm, Z80, MCS-51, ansi-c, php
debian linux, VB6.

And self learning and design about electronics circuit, audio circuit, computer interface and somethings a lot.

Have some experience about vision inspection.

I try to make my own bussiness but life were not success, now i'm near finish the project "Burglar Alarm with PIR Sensor" after the burglar walk in my home from June,2012

Hello all,

I have been on the internet trying to learn as much as I can about Visual Basic and I found this website. With over a million members and helpful articles, I know I want to be a part of this community.

I am a IT consultant for small businesses in Louisiana while I work on my Chemical Engineering degree. This semester I enrolled into a Visual Basic class which requires me to use VB to solve real life problems. The main goal is to have a good knowledge of programming so that we can gain efficiency during unit operations that normal operators can't get. For example, a program that reads the outside temperature could account for outside temperature change and change certain settings in a unit operation to gain efficincy. This is something that humans just cannot do in a resonable time....

I was rambling, but I am glad to have found this site and I hope that I can grow within this community and become a better programmer.
