msgsrv32

Question... I'm installing windows 98 on a dell inspiron 8000 laptop. I just installed it and entered in the product code that I have and it gives me msgsrv32 and must abort. I cannot get past this and don't know what else to do...help anyone please

Internet Explorer is probably tripping over the driver for your sound card. Start the computer in safe mode (by holding down the Ctrl key whilst it boots), go to "System" in Control Panel and disable the driver. Then reboot and try to download a more up to date driver for the sound card from the manufacturer's website.
