?'s, JPG, Free Store and Compiler Synthesis

Expand Post »
as i laid awake at night staring at the ceiling after hours of coding I started to wonder about a few things that really bugged me:

1) How can I create a function that will utilize custom JPEG compression to output text onto a jpg image file? Does anyone know of an already implemented library that is avaible for free?

2) When should memory be dynamically allocated to free store?

and finally I couldn't help but wonder what Compiler Synthesized Methods were, any ideas are greatly appreciated.
