I own a RD1071 RCA LYRA MP3 player. I was wondering if anyone knew what programming language it uses. The main chip is the STMP3410. It handles everything good. I can update the device with new firmware and I would like to change it a little.
Anyone recommend a free compiler/decompiler? Any size, I have DSL. What I am trying to do is fix a few errors/glitches with the playback. It really is an excellent MP3 player, but it shows DOS-type file names and skips a tenth of a second or so of playback.
All I need is something to read the update files. If it gets corrupted or has a new update it erases the BIOS fully and reinstalls.
