suggest a good operating system book

I have a course on operating systems in this semester during B.Tech.
Suggest me a good book to follow which covers all the concepts well and has good/easy language.
thanx in advance

Isn't that part of the lecturers job, to recommend reading material to you?

You can't be sure you've got a good lecturer either, but I bet you're shelling out a lot more for the tutor than for the book.

Find the book on amazon (or other book sellers) and see what reviews have been written.
