Fabricated Software/Programs

Does anyone know what is ment by fabricated products & softwares?

I have an essay to write about the quality of fabricated products & softwares, but I am not too sure what it is ment

by my findings I believe its to do with products such as cars which are made up of many raw materials (steel, aluminum, rubber etc...) and programs that consist of many pre-written codes i.e J Creator, MS Visual basic

can someone tell me if I am right?

The phrase "fabricated software" doesn't ring any bells for me, but it might refer to component-based software engineering.

It's a place to start, anyway... I'd clarify with your teacher exactly what was intended.

yes Gusano, it had something to do with component based software engineering which I learnt doing the essay
