i need some book suggestions

im looking for a book or two that will teach me MS Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition
and a book that will teach me 3D game programming on it aswell.

that was a very stupid answer indeed. what he wanted was some kind of suggestion from personal reading. i.e. if you had used some book which you found really good you could have suggested that, instead of trying to be extra smart ...

goto www.amazon.com and search for "Visual Studio 2008" in the books selection. They have several of them with reader reviews too. If there are any graphics books they will have them too.

So you already know
- how to program
- how to program in C++

If you don't know those things, then jumping right in at the deep end doesn't seem like a wise move. What are you planning to do when you get there?
