Differance Between Visual C++ and C++.NET

Expand Post »
I heard something which firstly .NET converts all codes to MSIL language and then create .exe. If that is true, I wonder that does .NET convert C++ codes to MSIL language. Also can anybody explain me the differance between Visual C++ and Visual C++.NET?

Thanks

Google for the differences between 'managed code' and 'unmanaged code'.

That's an easy one -- none. Two different names for the same compiler (assuming the same version produced since 6.0).
