sending a packet of info from C++ client to a php server

Expand Post »
Hello..
I wish to write a client program in C++ which will keep on sending a packet of info to a server on internet at regular intervals. As I am a newbie, i am not getting any idea how to do it.....Further, I would like to mention that the program should be fully automated with no User Interface and it will keep on running continuously and sending data after fixed intervals....
for the server, i have mysql on linux and am developing php server for receiving packets and processing.....
someone please help me in the client part..
thanks.
