Make Header Files

I am MAD. Google was useless in this sense. I want to make a header file/ external reusable .cpp. AND I WANT EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. I just can't find anything. I just want to put a few functions I use all the time in it. PLEASE... Great now I'm sad.
Edit: I know the basic guards stuff but a ton of error codes come up...

Hey... I was asking how to make a header file with every little detail. I ripped everything relating to fstream out of the code and it worked... so now I'm back to normal. Is it possible to use fstream stuff in a header? I know I included fstream.
