Hi,
For portability reasons, make sure you don't do a dumb Windows thing and hardcode a drive letter. Why? My D: is a second hard drive, not a CD-ROM!
And if it is Unix / Linux, might want to do a check to make sure that the process has authority to access the CD-ROM device. :)
