Advantages of C++ SAFEARRAY: Explain

Can someone help in explaining the advantage/use of the C++ SAFEARRAY as I am not finding much useful material out there.

This may be my answer to returning a large multidimensional array from a class memberfunction. That is some how converting such an array to a SAFEARRAY is probably what needs to happen.

could you give an example of code... i dont know what you mean by this SAFEARRAY thing... it sounds interesting... be smart kids and practice your SAFE HEX... :p
