Getting a VC++ Express.NET app to work on other machines
Expand Post »
Hi,
I have written a little prgrm to help me on my job. I want to now be able to use it on other machines than the one it was written on. I wrote it in Visual C++ .NET Express, downloaded from Microsoft, the free one. The machine I wrote it one has WinXP Home edition. I'm trying to run it on a Windows 2003 SP2 Server now and it gives me this error msg:
---------------------------
F:\Directory of Pgrm
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

OK

This was a release win32 build I made of the pgrm. Could anyone help me? How to get this to work on any PC?
Won't run on a WinXP Pro machine either. They don't have the .NET SDK installed or VC++.
