GUI tutorials for Linux

Hello there! can anybody here point me to any GUI programming in Linux tutorials. Been googling around but no good hits. Thanks.

You would need a third party API to achieve since standard C/C++ doesn't cater to GUI requirements of the programmer like modern languages.

wxWidgets and GTK+ are a few famous names you get to hear.

QT, is supposed to be very good because it has a nice GUI builder... when I finally get to install it...
