textbox text validation

hello!! i m a bit confused! i want just to make a login form with two textboxes, name and pass, and a validate button. Only two people can be validated so the validation can be done with if structure with the values i wiill set.

so i need a method when the button clicked to check the textboxes texts...
(if textbox.Text = ...

can you help me?
