Can any software testers out there help?

I've noticed a lot of job adds asking for a tester with c# experience. I would like to learn a new language and apply it to software testing.

Please can you tell me the type of programs testers creating in C#?

Your question sounds "Software" to test C#. Write unit tests and use NUnit to run them.

If you are looking for static analysis, you should use FxCop , and use ReSharper to analyze your program at source code level.
