Can't find DirectX reference

Hey I've just started using C# and wanted to start employing DirectX as well however before I can start all the tutorials I go to say I have to add a reference to the library. Now I've installed and reinstalled the June 2010 DirectX SDK a few times but the .dll's won't appear in the "Add Reference" table in Visual C# Express 2010. Please Help

You'll need to get XNA if you want to do DirectX in C#. They stopped the original managed directx a long time ago. Check out http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/aa937791.aspx for more info.

Thanks but I discovered where the DirectX dll's were hidden. Rather then them being wwhere i had them installed they decided to be in C:\\Windows\Microsoft.NET\DirectX for managed code\1.0.2902. I'll check out this Xna though XD looks shiny
