Has been released by Microsoft. It includes64-bit Windows Developer Preview
Windows SDK for Metro style apps
Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Express for Windows Developer Preview

28 Metro style apps including the BUILD Conference app

You can download it here . I'm about to install it and see what's new in VS 2011 (and hopefully C# :))

THanks for the info Momerath, but if there were any upgrades to C#, would they not have mentioned it separately?

I heard that they are only releasing a 32-bit dev preview, and the 64-bit one comes with no development tools.

Skatamatic, 64-bit version has development tools and 32-bit version doesn't.

Pseudorandom21, no, it doesn't even install on VMware VM. The problem is with Win8 HAL.

You should have VMWare 8 (Not 7 ! ) to install windows 8
and remove the floppy disk from VM to bypasses product key

I'm running it on VirtualBox at the moment, seems to work so far..
Tried installing the 64-bit on VMWare a while ago, and it didn't work, so for now I'm using the 32-bit-release :)

Just installed it, and noticed how un-userfriendly the first screen is..
I was looking a green screen for about 15 minutes, then i realised something was wrong. Pressed some random buttons, and apparently you have to move your mouse cursor to the bottom left corner to make a menu popup..
Not a good first impression so far, but once it works, it looks nice.
